Adventure~!

Aw Yeah, Mmmhmm
I had a great week last week! Better than the week before, anyway. I got a new car! Only because the last one was wrecked in the snowstorm. Don't worry about me, I'm fine! Ronnie and I went shopping for a new one.

We got this kind of car! )

It's newer than that one, but I really like that model. (I learned how to drive on that car!) It's impossible to find one that's still in good shape, so we got one that's only a couple years old. Newer than the last car, of course. Hopefully this one has better road traction! But I think I won't be driving around in snow anymore. Unless it's on my bike! Ronnie showed me that it's easier than driving a car. <3 He was so brave.

So who wants to be the first other than Ronnie to ride with me...?

So much going on!

Gasp!
Busy day at the shop today! We got about three or four cars in, all of them with scraped up parts all over. Same guy brought in most of them too! Some of them had some bad markings on the windows and door locks. They were really nice cars, too! It was an awful shame. Most of them just needed detailing, and the guy was pretty interested in changing their colors and adding some silly little fins and things. I'm no good with cars, really, but all the guys here have such large hands and fingers that they needed me to go into the block and fish out all the wires they needed. Lots of exposed fuses and wires in the front of them, too! Gosh, cars are such a mystery to me, I totally prefer my bike, really.

Oh, and I did have such a wonderful birthday, of course! No details, though. It's mostly private. Hee~!

<3 Flirty <3
[[Desiree's Valentine's box is made of a very fine shoebox that once contained some very fine shoes. It's red and made of a paper with a crackly texture that feels silky to the touch. Not being much for handicrafts, Desiree has simply cut a heart-shaped hole in the top for the gifts to go in~]]

Hello everyone!

I was so busy that I totally and completely forgot about this thing, but it looks like everyone’s coming back so I decided that I better come back too. I missed all of you! It’s so nice to hear from everyone, see so many familiar faces. Those of you I don’t see every so often offline, of course. Speaking of which, when was the last time I’ve seen some of you? Lana? Adrian? Nicky boy? Diego? Ronnie and I have been so busy we haven’t even had a chance to think! Well, he has, of course. He has to! (And he’s so smart he can hardly avoid it. <3)

Anyway, enough about that, this was what really got me to come back: I heard about Matt Engarde! I can’t believe I wasn’t working last Saturday, I’m so disappointed! It would have been great to have been there with all of you, but Ronnie and I had to be at home. Well, he did, and I stayed to give him moral support! But whatever, that horrible coward got what he deserved in the end, and we’re all better off for it. I glimpsed a bit of the footage on the news but I missed most of it... Which is good. Even if I disliked that terrible, violent, so-and-so, I don’t really like the idea of watching someone die on national TV... Even though he really, really deserved it.

Thinking
I can't help but think I might be missing something easy, so I thought I'd ask you guys! See, Ronnie keeps coming back with bruises from football practice, so I started buying steaks to put on the bruises! Like you see on TV, you know. I put them in plastic baggies, so they won't get anything gross on him, and after he's done, I make them for dinner! Is there anything wrong with that? I mean, do the steaks not work if they're in a bag? Or is there a reason we shouldn't be eating them...?

Honestly, I'm getting a little frustrated with it... He doesn't complain about them (He's so brave) but it looks like it hurts! Football is such a brutal sport. I just hope he doesn't hurt himself badly, one of these days... I might have to go to one of these practices, to see what they're doing to my poor Ronnie!

I'm back, everyone!!

Saucy Wink
If you were wondering where I went, my laptop crashed and I lost all my passwords! And of COURSE I couldn't remember any of them anymore... Ronnie bought me a new laptop right away, (this one has racing stripes!) but I still had to reset all my online shopping accounts and it took SO LONG! I kept taking breaks to go down to the aqueducts to ride, because I got frustrated.

Oh, which reminds me, Ronnie, I'm ordering a new custom helmet from that German site I used last time. Mine cracked open while I was down there this afternoon, and they don't have the color to match my bike anywhere else!

Speaking of my bike, I've had her all these years and still never gave her a name. One of the guys I was racing against down at the aqueducts said that it's a crying shame not to give a beautiful bike like mine a name, (His bike was named Roxanne) and now that he's said it, it's got me thinking. But I'm not all that sure whether she really is a she or not. I think so, since she and I have been together for so long that we're like best girlfriends. Besides that, if I gave my bike a man's name, it would feel (and probably sound) a lot like I was cheating on my Ronnie!! So I guess what I'm asking is, what's a good woman's name for a bike? Any suggestions!?
